The Challenge
WCN protects endangered wildlife through a model unlike any other in conservation: a global network of community-based conservationists, supported by a 100% donation guarantee that puts every designated dollar in the field. After two decades of impact across more than 200 species and 69 countries, they had built one of the most trusted names in wildlife philanthropy. But their digital presence didn't reflect it. The site was dated, the network model was hard to grasp, and the scale of impact was undersold. For an organization whose mission depends on engaging donors, the platform was its weakest tool.
The Approach
The platform was rebuilt around a single strategic question: how do we engage donors at every touch point? A new visual identity, powerful, evocative, modern, gave WCN a presence as bold as the conservationists it supports. The architecture maps to the donor journey: discovering species and the people protecting them, understanding the network model and the 100% donation guarantee, and feeling the weight of the impact a gift can make. We consolidated four standalone fund websites into the main platform, bringing WCN's three programs, Conservation Partners, Wildlife Funds, and Rising Wildlife Leaders, into a single connected system that makes the impact of the network tangible at every level.
The Result
WCN now has a platform built for the network at the heart of its mission, and for the donors who fund it. A bold visual identity matches the urgency of the work. The architecture engages donors at every touch point, making the network model clear, the impact felt, and the path to giving unmistakable. For an organization whose mission depends on its supporters, the platform is now its strongest fundraising tool.
